Grow your own fragrant, flavourful coriander with our Coriander Calypso Seeds, specifically bred for exceptional growth and resilience. Known for its high yield and bolt-resistant properties, this variety is perfect for gardeners who want fresh coriander leaves longer in the season. Whether you're enhancing your herb garden or looking to add a pop of flavour to your kitchen creations, these seeds are the ideal choice.

Ideal for sowing indoors from February to May, and outdoors from May to July. Coriander can be harvested up to four times, and is great for enjoying in curries, soups and salads.

Each packet contains approximately 70 seeds.

SOW: Coriander does not transplant well, so sow the seeds directly into your garden or containers. In cooler climates, sow in early spring (around March) when the soil is workable. In milder regions, you can also sow in late summer for a fall crop. Aim for a soil temperature of about 10°C or above for optimal germination.

HARVEST: Harvest tender leaves as early as 3–4 weeks after sowing, then continue to pick regularly for fresh use.

LIGHT: Coriander thrives with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. In hot climates, some afternoon shade can help prevent premature bolting.

WATERING: Keep the soil evenly moist (but not waterlogged). Generally, water lightly about once a week—more often during very hot or dry spells—ensuring the soil remains well-drained.

SOIL: Use a well-drained, fertile sandy-loam or loam. Incorporate organic matter like compost to boost fertility.

PLANT SIZE: Mature plants typically reach about 30–45cm (1218 inches) in height, providing a good rosette of flavourful leaves.

TOP TIP: Coriander grows well alongside cabbage, spinach, lettuce and tomatoes, but is also great for planting close to your back door so you can add the delicious fresh herbs to your cooking.

DISH TO TRY: Coriander and Mint Chutney – delicious!
